The owner and director of Aarbro Steel Trading Pty Ltd, Robert Creek, has been involved in the Australian steel industry for over thirty years. He has, over this long period of time, with a variety of employers and in numerous management roles, been involved in a great many Australian projects – large and small. Robert’s previous roles have included Business Development, Sales Management, Project Management and General Management. Previous companies with whom he has been employed have been in the aluminium, stainless, copper, brass, and general carbon steel market segments – from distribution, to manufacturing to trading - when all of this experience is combined it adds up to a very good understanding of the overall steel industry! ~160 induction bends (1067mmOD) for the QCLNG Project.
~10km coated pipeline for Caltex Australia, Jet Fuel Pipeline.
~800 tonnes of piling pipe for the Caltex Kurnell Jetty Upgrade.
~500 tonnes of piling pipe and fabricated steel products for the Caltex Lytton Crude Wharf upgrade.
~2,700 tonnes of coated piling pipes for the Botany Bulk Liquids Berth #2.
~600 tonnes of coated piling pipes for the Brisbane City Council, City Cat Terminal replacements.
In late 2014, Robert formed Aarbro Steel Trading Pty Ltd. This company will use Robert’s knowledge of the Australian market and his offshore manufacturing contacts, to offer you, the client, a trouble free purchasing experience.
